Alberto Biasi (1931 - ) was born in Paris. After graduating from the art school Dupetit Thouars in Paris, he lived in Zurich, Hanover and Monaco before establishing a studio in Rovereto, Italy. In addition to winning numerous prizes, he has executed works for public places in Italy. Biasi is a versatile sculptor who works in stone as well as with modern industrial materials such as the reinforced concrete used for The Immigrants.
