Carl F.K. Cheng (1942 - ) was born in San Francisco. He received both his BA and his MA from UCLA. In addition to his solo and group exhibitions, he has completed a number of public art installations, including the highly visible Santa Monica Art Tool in 1988. Collaborating with architects, Cheng's designed the Marine Station of the Green Line for the Metropolitan Transit Authority.
