Dora De Larios, born in Los Angeles, received her BFA from the University of Southern California in 1957. Her work has been executed in a variety of media, including cement, brass, and clay. She is also a ceramicist, and has taught ceramics at USC and UCLA. In addition to her public art projects in Southern California, which include installations at the Villa Parke Community Center in Pasadena and at the Trammell Crow Company in Santa Fe Springs, De Larios has major works in Japan, Hawaii, Florida and Tahiti.
