Seiji Kunishima (1937 - ) was born in Nagoya, Japan. His work, typically shaped from natural stone and accented with metallic insertions, has been exhibited in solo and group shows in both the United States and Japan. His public art installations in Japan and the United States include Stacking Stones at the San Francisco International Airport. Currently Kunishima maintains studios in both Nagoya and Los Angeles.
