Mrs. Roger Hayward wrote the architectural description of the Doheny Library, and collated various statements by those who worked on various aspects of the building. This manuscript exists in typescript only, as a draft, and was never published in its entirety. Some portions of the manuscript appeared in the Semi-Centennial Tribute, edited by then University Archivist, Paul Christopher, and published in Los Angeles in 1983. Text of Edward L.
