George Curtis Moore

Commemorative plaque located on the interior stairs of the Dr. Joseph Medicine Crow Center for Public Administration, that lead to the Library for International and Public Affairs (LIPA). Text of the plaque reads: "George Curtis Moore, 1925-1973, In memory of a distinguished alumnus of the School of International Relations (B. A. 1949, M. A. 1950), American Foreign Service Officer 1950-1973, Assassinated by terrorists in Khartoum, March 2, 1973, in the line of duty. Contributed by his friends in Chi Phi and International Relations, with great pride in his outstanding career representing our country abroad."
