Installed 2007 near the Music Building, University of Southern California. Text from the plaque: Ignacy Jan Paderewski (1860-1941), Pianist, Composer and Statesman. In recognition of Paderewski's ties to USC and Southern California, this monument was erected under the honorary patronage of the First Lady of Poland, Maria Kaczynska, Poland's Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Consulate-General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles, Taube Foundation for Jewish Life & Culture, the Kosciuszko Foundation Inc. in New York City, Polish Music Center, Polish-American Congress, Polish-American Historical Association, and thanks to the contributions of Polish-Americans from across the United States.
