Examples of publicly displayed sculptures on Sunset Boulevard (as of January 2018). The project, Guitar Town Sunset Strip, originated in 2010 as a public art project that consisted of 10-foot-tall Les Paul guitars. The sculptures were made by local artists to commemorate musicians historically associated with the strip. The sculptures of the guitars were auctioned, with proceedings going to charity. Other sculptures were made over time for various events.
