Metlox Plaza

Manhattan Beach, ca. 2005. Susan Narduli. Fountain, featuring water cascading over the tiles, was designed by Wade Graham of Landscape Studio, LLC. "Metlox Sand Dune Garden: This garden was designed to reflect Manhattan Beach's historical natural environment. The landscaping is reminiscent of the sand dunes that once dominated the terrain while the tiled water wall represents the waves crashing onto the beach. The quotes found in the pavement were obtained from local historical sources and are fragments of residents' recollections of the sand dunes."

Metlox Plaza also includes a kiln as a sculptural element, reflecting onthe history of Metlox Pottery.
