Ms. Gloria Orenstein
Women's Salon
711 Amsterdam Avenue
New York, New York 10025Dear Ms. Orenstein,
On behalf of the International Women's Year Commission I want to thank you for your performance at the National Women's Conference in Houston.
Seneca Falls South was a dynamic and successful part of our conference and I heard many times over the course of the weekend how engaging and exciting it really was. I wish each of us could have been there for much longer than we were.
Your energy and willingness are particularly impressive because I understand that you responded to our invitation to come and perform at your own expense. It is just that kind of energy that unifies us and generates the power needed to shape the future consistent with the affirmations of women. The National Women's Conference provided a chance for all of us to share our talent and skills with other women from around the country and around the world. We appreciate very much that your presence was an important part of that sharing. Good luck to you in the future.
Good luck to you in the future.
Sincerely,
Bella S. Abzug
Presiding Office
